Every Form & Function session is customized for the individual and provides support for the agreed upon goals set by the client and guided by the clinician.

Recommended program:
bi-weekly 50-minute sessions billed hourly to begin to build momentum. Sessions usually taper off as progress and more independent skills are reached. The last 10 minutes of each session serves as an optional check-in for parents/caregivers.

What does an Educational Therapist do?

More than a tutor, ETs can help to remediate skills, teach new concepts, and help the client manage the unfortunately common low self-esteem caused by having a learning disability. ETs are advocates, bridges between families, students and schools, mentors, teachers, and cheerleaders. They are highly skilled in specific techniques established to support those with learning disabilities.
Many learning differences impact the part of the brain that is in charge of executive function skills. In fact, executive function coaching is an important aspect of Educational Therapy.
